New Zealand Map

New Zealand is located in the South Pacific Ocean, southeast of Australia.  It is comprised of two main islands and several smaller ones.

The country is approximately 1,600 km (991 miles) long and 400 km (250 miles) wide, at its widest point.

The cities of Auckland and Wellington are located on the North Island while the city of Christchurch and Dunedin are situated on the South Island.
